Dr. David Lee Hill is a comprehensive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who is passionate about providing his patients with outstanding care. He has extensive experience in implant surgery and hard and soft tissue grafting procedures, and is dedicated to his clients' comfort and to achieving long-lasting solutions for their oral surgical needs.
Prior to establishing his Implant and Oral Surgery practice in Chapel Hill, Dr. Hill completed a four-year residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of North Carolina. He also completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina Hospital and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Virginia University.
Dr. Hill currently serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UNC-Chapel Hill and has participated in numerous volunteer projects providing dental and oral surgical care to underserved populations in the United States and abroad.
He is dedicated to the newest advancements in CT-guided implant surgery and keeps up to date with the latest practices and technologies through an ongoing commitment to continuing education.
He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the International Team for Implantology, North Carolina State Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, North Carolina State Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Dental Research.
