Dr. Albert H. Mattia (Faculty Emeritus) is a graduate of the St. Lawrence University, and received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
He is a Diplomate and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Fellow of the American Society of Osseointegration and the American College of Oral Implantology. As a student of Dr. Peter Dawson, he was one of the first U.S. dentists to perform implant surgery and restoration implementing the Concept of Complete Dentistry.
Dr. Mattia has extensive experience in dental implant rehabilitation, interactive CT diagnosis and complex case implant planning. He has provided comprehensive surgical and prosthetic implant dentistry to a South Florida senior population over a twenty-five year career in solo practice.
With an enthusiasm for technology that is contagious, he is recognized as a pioneer in digital imaging and dental computer applications. He is one of the profession’s most experienced clinicians with diagnostic imaging, including volumetric cone beam technology and interactive CT interpretation.
